By combining Raúl's capacity for enterprise and resource management with Sonia's passion for teaching and human development, they brought this natural refuge to life. Their purpose goes beyond ecosystem protection: they aim to generate a positive impact on the community and plant the seed of environmental awareness in every visitor. Raúl ensures the reserve thrives, while Sonia ensures everyone leaves with a deep understanding of the earth.
Eduardo Venegas & Nidia Mejías
Naturalist Guide & FoundersBehind MonteNubis Reserve is the shared vision of Eduardo and Nidia. Eduardo, a passionate naturalist guide, leads the direct connection between visitors and wildlife through environmental interpretation. Nidia, a Tourism Administrator, designs the logistics and operational strategy to ensure the reserve is a model of sustainable development. More than a project, this reserve is their life project: a space dedicated to educating, inspiring, and preserving natural heritage for future generations.
